It was indeed a pleasure to work with Nigel on converting our old 8 mm film to digital. Much of material was from a stint living in Zambia when our kids were little and it held a lot of good memories. Like most people, putting up a screen and dragging out a noisy projector just wasn’t on our radar anymore. I have dreams of getting these pieces of history into a presentation for the family but haven’t got that far. I do feel that the images are safe on two different hard drives. He also digitized a large number of cassettes that we had made during that three years describing our Zambia experience for my mom and dad back in Ontario. Hearing the kids Zambian accents from my computer is very easy and quite fun.
Nigel was very fair in his pricing. In fact, I had to pay him extra because I felt he wasn’t charging enough! He was prompt, more than amenable about shipping the finished goods back to us and so very pleasant to chat with.
All in all, I think he rates a 10 out of 10!
